How To Decide When Buying A Notebook Computer

I spent a long time trying to decide on a new laptop computer. It seems simple enough when you first think about replacing an old notebook computer but when you begin to get down to the detail it is a lot more complicated. Most of us are limited by the cost and we want to get good value for money.

I started out looking for a simple and cheap machine but the more I read the better the specification was reqired. My needs and intentions changed to as I went from wanting a laptop as a temporary machine to use when I was away from home to getting a complete desktop replacement that enables me to do everything and more than I can on my current desktop, from anywhere in the world with an internet connection.

I went from a screen size of 15 inch up to 17 inch. I went from 2 Gb of memeory up to 4Gb and the hard disk was eventually a 500 Gb monster spinning at 7,200 rpm.

I settled on buying a Dell laptop computer with the above specification and it is a very nice machine. I ordered online and there are always some reservations when you have not previously laid eyes on the thing you buy but when I saw my laptop I was delighted. I have a great notebook computer with a great specification at a great price. I’m happy.
